Once students are settled we expect them to be well groomed and wear the appropriate uniform (as detailed below).
From Grade 1 upwards we are especially keen that female ballet students wear their hair in a bun (BDA staff will be happy to help).
Please note- we know younger students are always growing, and provide a second hand shoe store on certain days during term
OPTIONAL
while not allowed in exams, we are happy for older students to wear a NAVY cross-over skirt in class.

INTERMEDIATE / ADVANCED FOUNDATION
The RAD website provides information on regulation uniforms for vocational grades.
However, as vocational level classes are for older students we trust them to tastefully express individuality. When not preparing for an exam students may wear dancewear in class of ANY STYLE, ANY COLOUR, or indeed many colours!
This is also the case for our workshops and non RAD classes
Links to dancewear providers are listed below
T-SHIRTS (CONTEMPORARY)
We are currently in the process of finding a new t-shirt supplier
As ever, if you have any questions please EMAIL hfbrew@yahoo.co.uk
Some exercises and dances in the RAD syllabus require props. Here is a list of what students may need to acquire at each level.
